American Heart DVD is now available! It's official! The American Heart DVD has been released and is now available for purchase on our website. A lot of people have been eagerly awaiting this occasion, but we think you'll agree it was worth the wait -- the DVD looks great and includes some cool extra features including lots of "deleted scenes" -- scenes that we really liked but sadly ended up on the cutting room floor. what's this? Last week, we were thrilled to learn American Heart was honored with the Bronze Jury Prize at the Social Justice Film Festival in Seattle. Here's what they had to say about our film: "American Heart packs an emotional wallop as it portrays the lasting legacy of commitment, caring, and hope that the clinic provides.” Among the upcoming engagements for American Heart is the State Department's 9th Annual Refugee Admissions Workshop, hosted by the Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration. American Heart will be shown twice during the workshop which takes place the week of December 2-6. Screenings are open to workshop participants, and panel will be moderated by our very own Dr. William Stauffer.    From the nation's capital we head to Milwaukee! American Heart will be presented as part of the Medical College of Wisconsin's Global Health Week program. Screening will take place Thursday, December 5 at 2pm on the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center campus. Film will be followed by a discussion moderated by CDC's Dr. Martin Cetron. Open to the public. More info here!  Minnesota broadcasts: American Heart marathon on Thanksgiving! Throughout November we've celebrated four television broadcasts on Twin Cities Public Television, and we've received some really wonderful feedback from viewers. Moreover, our premiere broadcast on TPT’s flagship station, tpt 2, attracted 13,000 viewership households -- not too shabby! But we're not done yet... for our Minnesota friends, you still have a few chances to catch American Heart on TV.  How about an alternative to football on Thanksgiving? American Heart will play multiple times throughout the day.
